Unhyeongung Palace 360 VR — A Tour You Walk Into

A 360° VR tour of Unhyeongung in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Starting at the main gate, it passes Noandang, Noraktang and Irodang in turn before reaching the relic exhibition hall — in the same order you would actually walk it.

Walking from place to place
It doesn’t simply jump between points. Scenes of walking along the flower walls, stepping through the Irodang gate and passing down the covered corridor are stitched in as video, so how the spaces connect comes through far better than in a tour that just flips through photos.
Commentary at every point

How to explore
Drag to look around, and scroll or pinch to zoom. Tap a hotspot on the ground to walk to the next hall, and open the gallery to see the videos and photos for that spot. It opens in PC and mobile browsers with nothing to install.
Where it’s used
Without commentary, a heritage site can look like just another building even when you’re standing in it. Attach walking videos and commentary to each point in 360 VR, and the story carries on from the same spot before and after a visit. It’s used for online exhibitions and educational materials at palaces and museums.
