A 360 VR of the Angkor archaeological sites in Cambodia, produced as educational content for UNESCO’s Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU). Choose a site on the map and look all around from where you stand. The maps are divided into three areas: Angkor, Banteay Chhmar and Preah Vihear.

How to explore
Tap a point on the map on the first screen to enter the 360° panorama at that spot. Drag to look all around, and scroll or pinch to zoom. Tap a hotspot on screen to move to another spot at the same site. It opens instantly in PC and mobile browsers with nothing to install.
Where it’s used
This work brings hard-to-reach cultural heritage into classrooms and homes as it is. Unlike photos or video, viewers move their own gaze, so the scale and space of the site come through. It’s used for education for international understanding, global citizenship education and cultural heritage archives.
